Day 1: ARRIVAL DANANG HOI AN (L/D) Welcome guests and transfer to Hoi An. Arrival Hoi An. Pick up Guests and transfer to hotel. Free activities. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Hoi An. (Hoi An): was Vietnam’s most active trading centre over many centuries and has been largely preserved. The architecture of the city reflects the influence of Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, French and British traders.
Hoi An is also the town where French Missionary Alexandre De Rhodes introduced Catholicism to Vietnam as well as the Romanised script that has become the standard Vietnamese script. On arrival take a walking tour of enchanting Hoi An visiting an old merchant house, the Hoi An Museum, a Chinese Assembly Hall and the Japanese
Day 2: HOI AN (B/L/D)
After breakfast, visit Vist Hoi An ancient town with many houses, Pagoda (It is building by Chinese communities), Lai Vien Kieu Bridge (It is build by Japanese in the 17th century), Hoi An Market. Hoi An port. Boat trip on Thu Bon river to visit Kim Bong- village of Sculpture and Thanh Ha – a village of pottery. Dinner and Overnight in Hoi An (Hoi An ancient town): is a small city on the coast of the South China Sea in the South Central Coast of Vietnam. It is located in the Quang nam province and is home to approximately 88,000 inhabitants.The city possess ed the largest harbour in Southeast Asia in the 1st Century and was known as Lâm Ấp Phố (Champa City).
(Bridge Pagoda): Hoi An officials have chosen the Chua Cau or Bridge Pagoda as the historic city’s main symbol. The central Vietnamese town is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Day 3: HOI AN - HUE (B/L/D)
Breakfast in hotel. Coach trip to Hue. A scenic drive to the former Royal city Hue, over Hai Van pass where a spectacular panorama of the central coastline can be viewed from the summit. Visiting the elaborate Royal Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc & Minh Mang, who ruler Hue more than 100 years ago. There are pavilions in a tranquil setting of forested hills and lakes. End the day with a walking trip through the Imperial Citadel built in the early 19th century. (B,L,D)
(Hue): Hue city via the spectacular Hai Van Pass. This drive is considered one of the most beautiful in Vietnam and takes you through a combination of both rural and coastal settings. Your first visit will to the impressive home of the Nguyen Dynasty emperors (1820 - 1945), the Imperial City and the Royal Citadel. Much of the Citadel was destroyed during the Tet Offensive in 1968 but is gradually being restored. Continue on to the Thien Mu Pagoda by boat on Huong river, Hue’s oldest and most beautiful pagoda, thought to be the symbol or religion and spirit of Hue people. After lunch we continue on to visit the solemn permanent shelter of the 4th Nguyen Emperor, Tu Duc tomb
(Royal city Hue): Based on the ancient practice of geomancy, the Citadel was designed and planned around the natural elements in the area north of the Perfume river. The complex faces southeast, taking Mount Ngu Binh (Royal Screen Mount) as a natural screen. Two islets in the Perfume river, Ta Thanh Long (Left Green Dragon) and Huu Bach Ho (Right White Tiger) play the role of sentinels for the Citadel. The construction of the Citadel took place from 1805 to 1832.
(Royal Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc): is situated on Duong Xuan mountain in Duong Xuan Thuong village, on the bank of the Perfume river, 8km from the centre of Hue. The construction started in 1864 and was completed in 1883. Also called Tomb of Modesty
(The Imperial City): in Hue is a walled fortress and palace in the former capital of Vietnam. It was intended to be a copy of the Chinese Emperor's Forbidden City in Beijing, China.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to visit Phong Nha cave. Take a boat trip on Son river to visit Tien Son and Phong Nha caves. Lunch in Phong Nha.Back to Hue. Dinner and overnight in Hue.
(Tien Sơn cave): it is a uncanny cave, a fairyland. The gate is small and narrow but the cave become larger and larger if we advance further inside. It is said that this is the palace of “The White Dress Fairy” The cave is divided into rooms and there are numerous precious and scarce things of the Heaven, now displayed on Earth.
Day 5: HUE DEPART (B)
After breakfast, free at leisure for shopping in Dong Ba market untill transfer the the airport for flight back home. End of the tour. (Dong Ba market): in Old Hue is near the place where the Dong Ba Canal joins the Perfume River. This market is strongly recommend to anyone with an interest in Vietnamese food or culture.
